New for 2019, Medieval Medicine focuses on five medical practitioners from the period. Their approaches to treatment are investigated and related to three different skeletons that are on display. One individual showed signs of leprosy and is displayed alongside a facial reconstruction created to help explain the different stages of the disease.
As well as interactive activities throughout, the exhibition also includes an exclusive short film written by Horrible Histories author, Terry Deary, where the five practitioners debate over the best way to treat a Black Death patient.
This exhibition is currently on display at Time & Tide Museum, Great Yarmouth. For more information on the Medieval Medicine Exhibition click here
