Copyright, Reproduction and Publication Rights
The purchase of photographs, plans, text or other material does not carry with it the right
to make a reproduction of it in any form without the prior written consent of York
Archaeological Trust or the relevant copyright holder. The material supplied is © York
Archaeological Trust unless otherwise stated. Use will be restricted to the purpose stated
on the application.
Assignment
The licence is restricted to the Licensee named on the purchase invoice and cannot be
transferred, or sub-licensed without the prior written permission of York Archaeological Trust.
Breach
Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this permission will be construed as a
material breach of these terms and conditions and will result in the immediate termination of the
licence. In such circumstances any reproduction or misuse of the information will be treated by
York Archaeological Trust as infringement of copyright and breach of contract. The outcome of
this may be a ban on the future supply of information to the licensee.
Despatch
No item will be dispatched until payment has been received by the Trust. Despatch will take place
normally within three working days of receipt of payment. The York Archaeological Trust does not
accept responsibility for non-delivery or delays incurred in receipt of the order or receipt by
the customer of the reproduction(s) where delivery is via a third party (eg: the Royal Mail or courier).
The York Archaeological Trust will not accept liability for damage caused in transit.
Jurisdiction
This licence shall be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of England.
